Weflow vs Momentum

By Weflow · Updated October 9, 2026

Weflow is the Revenue AI Orchestration platform for sales, customer success, and RevOps teams. It captures every email, meeting and call, turns conversations into CRM data you own, and forecasts on it. Momentum, owned by Salesforce, writes call insights into Salesforce and Slack and leaves email capture and forecasting to other tools.

We weren't buying conversation intelligence. We were buying a unified data layer that the entire go-to-market motion could run on, and a partner who understood that distinction.

Frequently asked questions

Can Weflow replace Momentum?

Yes, for teams that want one platform. Weflow covers Momentum's core: recording, summaries, follow-ups, field updates from calls, scorecards and deal risk alerts. It adds what Momentum leaves to other tools: email capture into Salesforce, forecasting, pipeline analytics and in-person recording. You give up Momentum's Slack-first workflows, its automatic clips and its ability to work on calls another recorder captured.

Momentum is owned by Salesforce now. What does that change?

Salesforce bought Momentum to feed Agentforce and Slackbot with call data, and names it the future of call recording and activity capture inside Salesforce, which puts Einstein Activity Capture and Einstein Conversation Insights on a superseded path. It is sold inside Salesforce's sales editions. Weflow stays a separate platform at a published seat price, with agents that work your CRM data without consumption pricing.

Does Momentum capture emails?

No. Momentum logs no email itself. Its only email source is email a team has already logged to Salesforce Tasks with another tool, which its support then ingests, and its Outlook and Google connections read calendars, not mailboxes. Weflow captures every inbound and outbound email server-side through a central app in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and logs it as an EmailMessage or Task record.

Does Momentum do forecasting?

No. Momentum has no forecast submissions, roll-ups, AI prediction or accuracy tracking, and positions itself as feeding a team's existing forecasting tool, such as Clari or Gong. Weflow's Deal Intelligence & Forecasting adds deal-by-deal submissions with manager override, an AI projection with a low, middle and high range, parallel forecasts for new business, renewal and expansion, and a pipeline waterfall.

We already record calls in Gong or Clari Copilot. Do we need another layer on top?

Momentum is built to sit on top: it reads calls from Gong, Chorus, Clari Copilot, Attention or Salesloft and writes the insights into Salesforce. Weflow replaces the stack instead: it records with its own notetaker and desktop app, imports your existing recording library at no extra cost, and writes summaries, field updates and activity into Salesforce, so one platform does what a recorder, a capture tool and an insight layer did.

How do the CRM field updates compare?

Both write values from calls into Salesforce and let an admin choose whether each field updates automatically or waits for review. Momentum's Autopilot writes into opportunity, account, lead, contact and Event fields, with reviews confirmed in Slack. Weflow's AI Field Updates write into fields of every type except lookups on standard and custom objects, and its AI Playbooks score MEDDIC or SPICED from every email, meeting and CRM field.

Can our reps work from Slack with Weflow?

Partly. Weflow posts meeting summaries, recording links, forecast-call reminders and agent reports into Slack, and Agent Builder delivers its outputs there. It does not read Slack or let reps edit Salesforce from Slack buttons, which is Momentum's strength. Reps update deals in Weflow's deal board, which writes every field straight back to Salesforce, or in Salesforce itself.

Can we try either before we buy?

Weflow offers a 14-day free trial on your own Salesforce, with implementation included, and its technical setup takes 30–45 minutes with your Salesforce and mail admins. Momentum lists no free trial. It runs a two-week proof of concept in three meetings, with a Momentum Solutions Architect doing the installation, prompt design and workflow setup, and offers custom pilots on request.

Where is our data hosted?

Weflow hosts in Frankfurt, New York or Sydney, matching your Salesforce region by default with an override to keep data in the EU or UK, and holds SOC 2 Type II with HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA compliance and zero AI data retention. Momentum stores and processes customer data on Google Cloud in the United States, with part of its transcription done by Gladia in France, and offers no choice of region.
