Weflow is the Revenue AI Orchestration platform for sales, customer success, and RevOps teams. It captures every email, meeting and call into CRM data you own, with mapping your team can see and steer, then runs conversation intelligence and forecasting on it. Nektar is a background capture service that feeds Salesforce and Snowflake. EAC is Salesforce's own email and calendar sync.
Einstein frequently missed activities. Now, we trust the data. It's been a big mental lift for the team.

Feature comparison
If your goal is basic email and calendar sync included with Sales Cloud, EAC is a good choice. If it is activity data for a data team, delivered to Salesforce and Snowflake with no rep-facing tool, Nektar is. When you want complete activity data you can steer, with calls and forecasting on top, choose Weflow.
Activity CaptureShow 10 capabilitiesHide
| Capability | Weflow | Nektar | EAC |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email capture | StrongerServer-side capture through a central app in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, written to Salesforce as Task or EmailMessage records in real time. | Background capture through admin-level connections, written as Tasks about an hour later, and only when a participant is a known contact or lead. | Captures email from each connected account as Task and EmailMessage records on setups since Summer '25.Reps report connections dropping. |
| Meeting capture | StrongerEvery external calendar meeting logged as a permanent Salesforce Event, whether or not it was recorded. | Writes calendar events as Events with attendees; events more than three months ahead wait until they come within that window. | Syncs meetings as Events, but when the organizer is not syncing, each attendee gets a copy, which inflates activity counts. |
| Matching to the right record | StrongerAdmin-set matching rules per team, on secondary email fields and the account's website domain, so RevOps can see why each activity landed. | Machine-learning affinity models match and learn from corrections, but admins cannot read or adjust the rules behind a match. | Matches by address to users, contacts and leads, then accounts and opportunities.Admins tune it in Flow Builder or with Apex. |
| Several open opportunities | StrongerWeighs contact role, owner, mailbox owner and stage, and reps re-map from Gmail or Outlook once for the whole thread. | Scores candidates on timing, keywords, participants and owner, and logs to the account when the choice is ambiguous. | Uses the contact role first, then tiebreakers such as close date and owner.A contact on several deals sees the email on all of them. |
| Rep review and correction | StrongerThe Outlook add-in and Chrome extension show which records an email will log to, and let reps re-map or untick it. | No rep-facing interface.Reps fix a match by editing the record in Salesforce. | Reps change the matched record on the email itself, and the matching flow keeps that change. |
| Contact creation | Creates missing contacts from email recipients under admin rules: existing accounts only, participant caps and domain exclusions. | Creates missing contacts with name, title and phone from signatures; rules that limit creation are in the Harvest package. | Contact Auto-Creation is off on setups since Summer '25, and email to an unknown address is not logged until someone adds the contact. |
| Opportunity Contact Roles | Adds a contact role when it logs an email from a contact to a deal where they have none. The buyer role stays with the rep. | StrongerCreates contact roles and assigns buyer roles such as decision maker or sponsor, in the Harvest package. | Reads existing contact roles to match email, but never creates or maintains them. |
| Historical backfill | StrongerPast emails and meetings written into Salesforce, typically up to 24 months.Run by Weflow's team. | Up to 18 months, as a one-time add-on at $8 per user for each month of history. | Up to 50,000 emails from the past 180 days; past events only when an admin sets a window. |
| Capture exclusions | StrongerAdmins exclude by internal and external domain, whole object, keyword and custom rules on any Salesforce field, and reps can mark an email or event private. | Screens out internal, automated and personal addresses by default, with admin rules by date, address, domain and keyword. No opt-out for reps. | Admins and users exclude addresses and domains, admins add keywords, and emails with card or ID numbers are left out automatically. |
| Attachments | StrongerStores email attachments in Salesforce, with a size band set per capture configuration. | Reads email body and headers but does not sync attachments. | Does not sync or store attachments; reps open the inbox to find a quote or contract. |

What users of each tool say
What they like
“The absolute best part about Weflow is that it automatically summarises every single client call and drops the notes straight into Salesforce. I stopped writing up notes manually for the most time.”
LPLaszlo P.Enterprise, 5/5 · G2 review
Where it falls short
“There is a small lag when a new field is created on Salesforce, it doesn't instantly sync with WeFlow.”
ACAlisson C.Senior Account Executive (Mid-Market), 5/5 · G2 review
NektarWhat they like
“Our buying groups went from 2-3 contacts to 8-15 stakeholders. RevOps freed up 35+ hours/week from data consolidation.”
MVMaria Virginia M.Mid-Market, 5/5 · G2 review
Where it falls short
“Sync timing is slow. On average, there’s a ~75-minute delay between when an activity occurs and when it's created in our CRM. This lag makes it difficult for us to enforce SLAs in real time, especially when responding to inbound intent signals.”
VUVerified User in Computer SoftwareMid-Market, 4.5/5 · G2 review
Einstein Activity CaptureWhat they like
“Email syncing to leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities does work well with zero user effort and you can see threaded conversations.”
RUReddit userr/salesforce · Reddit
Where it falls short
“We looked into Einstein for a really long time. It was impossible to properly use it, and there were small things that continuously broke our setup or were unreliable.”

Frequently asked questions
We tried EAC and it falls short. Is Nektar or Weflow the better next step?
Both fix what EAC leaves out: contact creation, contact roles and longer backfill. The difference is control and reach. Nektar runs as a background service with machine-learning matching you cannot see, and stops at capture. Weflow lets admins set the matching rules and reps fix records in Gmail or Outlook, then adds Conversation Intelligence and forecasting on the same captured data.
How does each one match activity to the right opportunity?
EAC uses the contact's existing contact role, then tiebreakers such as close date and owner, so a contact on several deals sees the email on all of them. Nektar scores candidates with machine-learning models and logs to the account when unsure. Weflow weighs contact role, owner, mailbox owner and stage under rules admins set per team, and reps re-map once for the whole thread.
Which ones create contacts and Opportunity Contact Roles?
Weflow creates missing contacts from email recipients and adds an Opportunity Contact Role when it logs an email to a deal, on every plan. Nektar creates contacts with details from signatures and assigns buyer roles such as decision maker in its higher Harvest package. EAC's Contact Auto-Creation is off on setups since Summer '25, and it never creates contact roles.
How far back does each one go, and how long is activity kept?
Weflow backfills up to 24 months of email and meetings, and its records stay in your Salesforce permanently. Nektar backfills up to 18 months at $8 per user for each month of history. EAC pulls up to 50,000 emails from the past 180 days, and keeps captured activity 6 months on Standard and 24 months on paid licences.
Do Nektar or EAC record calls?
No. Nektar reads attendance and the transcripts Zoom, Teams or Google Meet already hold, and positions itself beside Gong for calls. EAC syncs email, calendar and contacts only; Salesforce sells call recording separately as Einstein Conversation Insights. Weflow records calls with a notetaker, a botless desktop app and mobile apps, and writes summaries and field values into Salesforce.
What happens to activity already captured when we switch?
Everything Nektar wrote and everything EAC stored as Task, Event and EmailMessage records stays in your Salesforce. Activity older EAC setups held in Salesforce's own store cannot be exported and ages out. Weflow captures from activation and backfills up to 24 months, and you can run EAC beside it while you switch, with EAC's event sync set to one direction.
How do the three compare on price?
EAC Standard is free with Sales Cloud for up to 100 users, and the full version is about $50 per user per month. Nektar quotes its Bloom and Harvest packages per user and charges $8 per user for each month of backfill. Activity & Contact Capture is $19/user/month, $11,400 a year for 50 users, with no platform fee and Conversation Intelligence available in the $49 bundle.
How is our activity data used for AI?
Weflow keeps zero AI data retention and never uses customer data to train models. Nektar runs its AI under agreements that prohibit storage or training, and does not train on customer data without a separate written agreement. Salesforce keeps de-identified data derived from EAC activity for up to 2 years and uses it with machine-learning models unless an admin opts out.
Where is our data hosted?
Weflow hosts in Frankfurt, New York or Sydney, matching your Salesforce region by default, with an override to keep data in the EU or UK. Nektar hosts on AWS in the United States and moves EU and UK data there under Standard Contractual Clauses. EAC runs on Hyperforce in the United States or Germany, following where your Salesforce org lives.
