Weflow vs Clari vs Gong

By Weflow · Updated October 2, 2026

Weflow captures your emails, meetings and calls and writes them, with transcripts, summaries and AI Field Updates, into your own Salesforce, then forecasts on that complete data. It costs $47,400 a year for 50 users, against an estimated $72,000–$108,000 for Clari and from $85,000 for Gong, and both Clari and Gong run a separate platform next to Salesforce.

I've worked with Gong before, but Weflow's simplicity and real-time sync are game-changing. Whether I update a deal in Salesforce or Weflow, it's instantly reflected everywhere.

Which one fits your team

You are replacing Clari or Gong

Weflow imports your Gong recording library at no extra cost, typically in 1–2 weeks, and your Clari forecast calls from Clari's API or a CSV. Modules are sold standalone, so you can switch one at a time.

Better fit: Weflow

Salesforce is your system of record

Emails and meetings land as native Task, Event and EmailMessage records that persist after uninstall. Clari and Gong both run a separate layer next to Salesforce.

Better fit: Weflow

You want to keep Clari or Gong and fix the data under it

The Revenue AI Foundation bundle is $49/user/month and writes complete activity and conversations into Salesforce, so the forecast layer in Clari can use accurate data.

Better fit: Weflow

You feel Clari or Gong is not worth the money

$19–$79 per user per month, billed annually, with no platform or implementation fee. Clari is estimated at $120–$180 per user and Gong starts around $1,600 per seat per year plus a platform fee.

Better fit: Weflow

EU data residency is a hard requirement

Weflow is a German company hosted in Frankfurt, with an EU or UK override and zero data retention. Gong also offers EU storage at signup, but Clari services host customer data in the US only.

Better fit: Weflow

Multi-BU, multi-region overlay forecast hierarchies

Roll-up forecasting across the Salesforce hierarchy is Clari's strongest and most established product. Weflow's hierarchy support is newer at that complexity.

Better fit: Clari

You run HubSpot, Dynamics or several CRMs

Weflow is Salesforce-only. Gong supports Salesforce, HubSpot and Dynamics 365 natively, while Clari's Deals and Forecast run on Salesforce only.

Better fit: Gong

Phone and SMS are 30–50%+ of touches

Weflow records softphone calls through its desktop app but is not a dialer and does not capture SMS. Gong connects to about thirty dialers and has its own.

Better fit: Gong

Weflow is priced per seat with no platform or implementation fee. Clari is quote-only with professional-services implementation fees, and Gong charges per seat plus a $5,000 annual platform fee.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start with one Weflow module and add more later, or do I have to buy the full platform?

Yes. Weflow sells Activity & Contact Capture ($19/user/month), Conversation Intelligence ($39/user/month) and Deal Intelligence & Forecasting ($39/user/month) as standalone products with a 10-user minimum. You can start with one module and move to the Revenue AI Foundation bundle ($49/user/month) or the full platform ($79/user/month), which lets you prove the value of your activity data before committing to conversation intelligence or forecasting.

Can I run Weflow alongside Clari or Gong instead of replacing them?

Yes. Weflow sells modules standalone, so Activity & Contact Capture at $19/user/month or Conversation Intelligence at $39/user/month goes in without touching your Clari or Gong setup, and feeds cleaner activity into Salesforce while Clari keeps the forecast roll-up or Gong keeps coaching. Run one capture engine only: two engines writing the same emails and meetings create duplicate activities.

What happens to my data if I cancel Weflow, Clari or Gong?

Weflow stores captured activity, transcripts, summaries and AI Field Updates as native Salesforce objects, so they stay in Salesforce after cancellation with no export project. Gong keeps recordings, transcripts and intelligence in its own cloud and access ends with the subscription. Clari syncs captured activity to Salesforce but keeps its forecast and operating layer outside it.

Why do teams switch from Gong to Weflow?

Price, data ownership and EU hosting come up most. HolidayCheck chose Weflow over Gong as an EU-made, GDPR-safe option, and KORE Wireless evaluated Gong and picked Weflow because Gong's value did not justify its price. Zeotap raised its win rate by 12% with Weflow and forecasts the quarter within 7% by week 4.

How does the Clari and Salesloft merger affect my evaluation?

Clari and Salesloft merged on 3 December 2025 and now ship one monthly release covering four products: Clari, Clari Copilot, Salesloft and Groove, which still run as separate applications. Clari Capture is no longer sold, and activity capture is now Salesloft's CRM sync. Moving onto Clari does not reduce the number of systems you run, it puts them on one invoice, so if you are signing a multi-year contract, ask when packaging and pricing settle.

How do I justify choosing Weflow over Gong or Clari in a formal procurement process?

Gong and Clari are the better-known names, so expect the buying committee to ask. Weflow's case rests on SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA compliance, Frankfurt hosting with an EU or UK override, published per-seat pricing that makes cost comparison straightforward without a sales cycle, a 14-day trial you can run on your own data, and customer results such as Zeotap forecasting within 7% by week 4.

How does Weflow handle recording consent?

Weflow's notetaker carries the consent flow, which you set as opt-in, opt-out or none, with a notice posted in the meeting chat and a link that stops the recording. If an external participant opts out, nothing from the call is kept. Zero AI data retention means conversation data is not stored by AI model providers after processing.

If I already use Outreach or Salesloft for engagement, does Weflow create duplicate activities in Salesforce?

No. Weflow's Activity Capture includes Compatibility Mode, which delays the sync by about ten seconds and skips emails the other tool has already logged, so your Salesforce Task and Event reporting stays clean. Weflow captures the full activity picture server-side while your engagement tool handles sequencing and cadences.

Does Weflow require each rep to authenticate individually, or can admins deploy it centrally?

Admins deploy centrally through the Google Workspace Marketplace or Microsoft Entra ID, with no per-rep OAuth, and reps install nothing for Activity Capture to work. The Salesforce install is two managed packages and one integration user with a dedicated permission set.

Can Weflow actually replace Gong, or will my team lose capabilities they depend on?

Weflow replaces Gong's core conversation intelligence (recording, transcription, summaries, coaching scorecards, trackers) and adds native activity capture and forecasting at Salesforce depth. You give up SMS capture, a dialer, AI role-play training, live in-call prompts and Gong's broader integration ecosystem. If most of your touches are phone or text, keep Gong for conversation intelligence and add Weflow's Deal Intelligence & Forecasting module ($39/user/month) instead.

Does Weflow record phone calls?

Weflow is not a dialer. Its desktop app records phone calls that run through your computer, such as Aircall or RingCentral softphones, with no bot in the call, and recordings from a connected dialer are pulled in, transcribed, written back to Salesforce and scored alongside meetings and emails. Calls on a rep's personal mobile line and SMS are not captured. Gong connects to about thirty dialers and has its own, and Clari's phone recording comes through the Salesloft Dialer, a paid add-on.

Is Weflow HIPAA compliant? What about FedRAMP?

Weflow is HIPAA compliant. It is not FedRAMP certified, so if FedRAMP is a hard requirement for your procurement process, Weflow is not the right fit today.
