Battlecard Refresh Agent

Check each battlecard against what reps are hearing from buyers, and recommend the claims that need rewriting because they are out of date or ineffective.

  • Trigger: a quarterly review starts
  • AI steps: summarize what buyers say, then find the stale claims

Battlecard Refresh Agent: a quarterly review starts; summarize what buyers say, then find the stale claims; rewrite recommendations assigned to enablement, with buyer quotes
How it works

Agent breakdown

A blueprint to adapt, not a fixed recipe. Set the trigger, thresholds, and methodology that fit your team, and each step builds on the last, using the conversation and CRM context you already capture.

1
TriggerStep 1 of 6

Run the review quarterly

Each quarter, the agent starts a new review of the battlecards. Running it quarterly gives enablement time to update a card and gives reps time to learn it before the next review.

  • Schedule: Quarterly
  • Scope: Battlecards reviewed during the quarter
2
ActionStep 2 of 6

Pull this quarter's call transcripts

Next, the agent pulls the relevant call recordings and transcripts from the quarter. It includes the context around the situation, which battlecard the rep used, and how the buyer reacted, so the review can check the card against what happened in the conversation.

  • Calls: Relevant calls from this quarter
  • Include: The situation, battlecard used, and buyer reaction
  • Records: Call recordings and transcripts

ActionStep 3 of 6

Summarize what buyers actually say

Using the call transcripts, the agent summarizes the objections buyers raised during the quarter in their own words. It keeps the situation and buyer reaction with each objection, so the next step can compare what reps heard with the guidance on the battlecard.

Prompt

Summarize the objections buyers raised in this quarter's relevant call transcripts, using the buyers' own words rather than our wording.

For each objection:

  • State the objection in plain language.
  • Include a buyer quote that captures how they expressed it.
  • Describe the situation in which it came up.
  • Name the battlecard used on the call.
  • Summarize how the buyer reacted to the rep's response.

Rules: use only the call recordings and transcripts from this quarter. Do not rewrite objections in internal sales language or infer objections the buyer did not raise.

Return a list of buyer objections with the buyer quote, situation, battlecard used, and buyer reaction.

Find the stale claims

The agent compares what buyers said with the claims on each battlecard and identifies the ones that are no longer supported. It separates claims that are out of date from claims that are ineffective, then recommends which ones enablement should rewrite.

Prompt

Compare the buyer objections and reactions from the previous step with the claims on each battlecard.

For each claim that is no longer supported:

  • Quote or identify the current battlecard claim.
  • Classify it as out of date or ineffective.
  • Explain what buyers said or how they reacted that supports the classification.
  • Include the relevant buyer quotes.
  • Recommend that the claim be rewritten.

Rules: use only the battlecard claims and the buyer evidence from this quarter's calls. Do not mark a claim as stale without supporting evidence from the conversations. Make a recommendation rather than editing the battlecard.

Return a list of the battlecard claims that need rewriting, grouped by battlecard, with the classification, reason, and supporting buyer quotes.

Task enablement with the recommendations

Finally, the agent creates a task for the enablement person who owns the battlecard. The task recommends which claims to rewrite and includes the buyer quotes behind the recommendation, rather than changing the card automatically.

  • Assigned to: The enablement owner of the battlecard
  • Due: Before the next review
  • Includes: The buyer quotes
Output

Battlecard rewrite recommendations and buyer quotes in tasks assigned to enablement

See which battlecard claims no longer match what reps are hearing from buyers and whether each one is out of date or ineffective. Enablement receives a task with the claims recommended for rewriting and the buyer quotes behind each recommendation, due before the next review.
